Laveranues Coles released from New York Jets

WR Laveranues Coles who has played in this year’s NFL preseason has been released from the team, something that was expected.

Jets have also released Aundrae Allison, Marcus Henry and Rodrique Wright.

Coles was born in 1977 in Jacksonville, FL and played college football for Florida State.Third round draft by the Jets in 2000.

He has played for the New York Jets, Washington Redskins, and the Bengals. He played for the Jets in three different periods (2000-2002, 2005-2008 and 2010).

Jets will open their 2010 regular season against Baltimore on September 13, the current betting line on that game is Jets -3 at Sportsbook.com.
